These terms govern your use of inkira.app, operated by Inkira Classics. By using the service, you agree to these terms.

The service

Inkira Classics provides illustrated editions and visual novel adaptations of public domain literary works. We offer both free and subscription content.

Accounts

  • You must provide a valid email address to create an account.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
  • One account per person. Do not share your subscription.

Subscriptions and billing

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly via Stripe.
  • You can cancel at any time from your account page. Access continues until the end of your billing period.
  • We do not offer refunds for partial months. If you have an issue, contact us and we will do our best to help.
  • We may change subscription prices. Existing subscribers keep their current rate.

Content

  • All literary texts are public domain works sourced from Standard Ebooks.
  • Illustrations, character designs, visual novel scripts, and other creative assets are owned by Inkira Classics.
  • You may not redistribute, scrape, or commercially use our illustrations or visual novel content.
  • Personal, non-commercial use (screenshots, sharing excerpts) is fine.

AI-generated content

Illustrations and visual assets are created with the assistance of AI image generation tools. Visual novel scripts are adapted from the original texts with AI assistance. The original literary works are unmodified public domain texts.

Acceptable use

Do not:

  • Attempt to access other users' accounts or data
  • Scrape, crawl, or bulk-download content
  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose
  • Circumvent subscription restrictions

Availability

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uptime. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time. If we discontinue the subscription service entirely, we will provide reasonable notice.

Limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is”. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, to the extent permitted by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be communicated via the site or email.
