Can I try it before subscribing?
Yes. Several titles have free chapters available with no account required. Just start reading.
What are the different art styles?
Premium subscribers can choose from period watercolour, oil painting, Victorian engraving, and cinematic styles — same scenes, different aesthetic. We add new styles over time.
Are these the real, full texts?
Yes. We use the original, unabridged public domain texts. The illustrations are added alongside — nothing is removed or simplified.
How does character consistency work?
Primary characters are rendered from locked reference profiles, so they look the same throughout the entire book. Secondary characters are consistent within scenes, and background figures are impressionistic — just as the best illustrated editions have always done it.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. No contracts, no lock-in. Cancel from your account settings and you'll keep access until the end of your billing period.
